Writers' groups and clubs
Interested in writing, reading, or both? My writers' groups are less formal than structured classes, and incorporate the reading of published works, as well as writing challenges, all in an informal and supportive atmosphere.
My writers' groups function a little like a combination of a writing club and a book club. They provide a platform on which to share your own work and obtain feedback from peers through group critiquing, as well as the opportunity to read and analyse the work of professional writers, all with a view to helping you learn and experiment with new techniques. They help you to connect with other writers, providing a source of mutual support and comradeship, and they're also a great way to make new friends!
Through Write Now, I facilitate groups and clubs in various locations in the North of England. Some of these are closed groups, but some are open to new members. They are ongoing, and you can choose to join for a year or pay per session. Prices vary depending upon venue and frequency of meetings.
