My role as a literary consultant is to help you ensure that your manuscript is as good as it can possibly be, before you consider sending it to a publisher or agent, or (in the case of play manuscripts) commissioning theatres. I read your work, annotate your manuscript, and provide a detailed written report outlining my comments and suggestions. I help you to identify the strengths of your work and any areas for further development. As a literary consultant, my aim is to help you to look at your work with a fresh eye and to give you a realistic assessment of your manuscript’s qualities.
Manuscript reading service
With this service, I provide detailed feedback on all aspects your manuscript, offering advice and constructive criticism to help you identify strengths and weaknesses of your work, and to enable you to gain a fresh perspective on how it looks.
Fee: £9.00 per 1000 words up to the first 50,000 words, and £5.00 per 1000 words thereafter
Submission report service
With this service, I provide detailed feedback on your synopsis and the opening three chapters of your work, so that you make sure you get that all-important first approach just right.
