What is a writing workshop?
My writing workshops provide a concentrated writing experience combining learning, writing practice and discussion activities. Writing workshops usually take place over a few challenging but highly enjoyable hours, and concentrate on a specific theme or area of writing.
Examples of themes for my workshops include (but are not limited to):
- writing dialogue
- creating realistic characters
- writing free verse poetry
- plotting your novel
- script writing techniques
- writing for children
